Welcome

… to the Chevington Press, publishing limited editions of books with etchings.

Etcher, printer, and sculptor Bob Wakefield has been passionately engaged in making books since his work with Leonard Baskin for the Eremite Press. He founded the Chevington Press in the 1980s to publish his first works on angling, and since then has made books on subjects as diverse as slavery, prize fighting, and natural history. Each book is a hand-printed labour of love, with type and etchings printed separately. The result is a volume of work characterised by its unique sculptural quality, striking contrasts, and extraordinary craftsmanship.
